The Scarecrow and the Crew

The camera operator John Bailey (left) and the cinematographer Nestor Almendros (right) are posing for this picture with a scarecrow on the set of the film Days of Heaven (1978). It is an American drama film written and directed by Terrence Malick. This film is noted for its cinematography though it didn't receive well from critics. In 2007, Days of Heaven was selected for preservation in the National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant". The BBC also ranked it 49th on their 100 greatest American films of all time list
