This photo is from the film The Hours (2002). It is a British-American drama film directed by Stephen Daldry, and starring Meryl Streep, Julianne Moore and Nicole Kidman. It didn't receive a wide release in North America. However in Britain, critical reaction to the film was mostly positive, with nine Academy Award nominations for The Hours including Best Picture, and a win for Nicole Kidman as Best Actress. In this photo we can see the actress Julianne Moore (under the umbrella) on the set of the film.

The filmography of Alfred Hitchcock encompasses the earliest silent films on which he worked as a title designer through to his final completed directorial effort, which was in 1976. Hitchcock started his illustrious career in his native Britain, and after achieving success there, he moved to Hollywood, where he made many of his most famous and popular pictures. In 1972, Hitchcock returned to Britain to make Frenzy.

Some of his work has been compiled into collections, such as the DVD and Blu-ray set The Masterpiece Collection. In 2013, the nine surviving silent Hitchcock films were added to the UNESCO UK Memory of the World Register.[1]

In the following lists, "American films" means films that were created primarily in the US; "British films" means they were created primarily in the UK. These labels do not necessarily indicate where the action in the film takes place. For example: Waltzes from Vienna is set in Vienna, but made in England; Rebecca is set in Britain, although entirely filmed in the US; much of Notorious takes place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and contains some genuine footage of the area, but was primarily shot in the US; The Paradine Case is set in Britain and contains genuine footage of the Lake District, but was primarily filmed in the US; Under Capricorn is set in Australia but entirely shot in the US.
