This behind the scenes image is from the film The Mechanic (1972). They are filming the final part of the memorable motorcycle chase in the film. A cable yanks the rider off of the motorcycle just in time, leaving the dummy to ride off into oblivion. The Mechanic is an American action thriller film directed by Michael Winner. This film received generally mixed reviews from critics but it was praised for its action scenes, acting and writing.

Michael Learned played the beloved mom on "The Waltons." When first time producer April Manor hooked up with her on her short film for the 168 Film Project, who knew that she would be demanding janitorial services from the multiple Emmy-winner (The Waltons (3), Nurse (1). Alas, etiquette and chivalry are dead, but, all is not lost. Manor and Director Liz Hewes teamed up for 5 nominations at the 168 Film Festival (Sept. 2014) and won for Best Comedy Screenplay. Learned gained two nominations for Best Supporting Actress, one for Manor's "The Parcel" and also for James Runcorn's "Unplugged," which won Best Comedy (2014).
