This behind the scenes image is from the film Giant (1956). Actress Elizabeth Taylor and actor Rock Hudson are in the line to have their lunch on the set of the film Giant (1965). It is an American epic Western drama film, directed by George Stevens from a screenplay adapted by Fred Guiol and Ivan Moffat from Edna Ferber's 1952 novel. In 2005, the film was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant".

This photo was taken on the set of the film Anaconda (1997). It is an adventure-horror film, directed by Luis Llosa. It centers on a documentary film crew who have been taken hostage by a snake hunter who is going after the legendary giant anaconda, which is discovered in the Amazon rain forest. Although the film received negative reviews from critics, it was a box-office hit and was followed by a series of sequels and a crossover film with the Lake Placid franchise. The director Luis Llosa (left) and the actor Jon Voight (right) are seen here in this picture.

This is a picture of the director Alfred Hitchcock and it was taken on the set of the film Dial M for Murder (1954). The movie was filmed in 3D and the camera couldn't cope with close-ups so Hitchcock, who rarely deviated from his storyboards, had a huge telephone made. That's what you see in this picture.

This rare picture was captured on the set of The Thing From Another World (1951). James Arness and Billy Curtis appear as "The Thing" in this picture. Arness stood 6'7" while Curtis stood 4' 2." Curtis was actually hired to play a smaller version of the monster near the end of the movie. If Arness looks a little embarrassed, it's probably because he was. He felt the costume made him look like a "giant carrot."
