The film features Pooja Umashankar, and Uddika Premarathna in the leading roles while Ravindra Randeniya, Lucky Dias, Veena Jayakodi, and Aruni Rajapaksha in supporting roles. In Sri Lanka Goddess Paththini is considered as the symbol of purity and she is always willing to help children and protect good women. Most of the Sir Lankan people have experienced her magical support if ever they are in trouble.
